Magic Begins just yards from Shakespeare's birthplace, in
Henley Street. Once
you enter the mysteriously magical and well maintained Magic Alley, you find yourself in a place with over 450 years
of history and where anything can, and frequently does, happen.... If you stroll past the reception desk you can choose to
walk on to the Golden Broomstick (our Tea Garden), the world famous Wand Shop and Apothecary where the air cools and
the scent of magic is palpable in the air, or, you could
choose to purchase a ticket and to climb the creaky winding staircase and begin your spookily magical journey through Magic
School and the Enchanted Manor.
Here Dr Thaddeus Bombay, one of history's most colourful characters, awaits
your arrival to introduce you to some of his dearly departed friends and relatives. Don't worry - too much!
While the Enchanted Manor on the second floor contains some spooky subject matter there is no gore and no-one jumps out at
you; the ghostly residents are, for the most part, friendly and the genuinely spooky experience is appropriate for all ages
from 6 to 96.
The Victorian Imagiscarium, however, is strictly for grown ups - sorry!
