The Victorians were fascinated by the paranormal and many Victorian scientists used the paranormal to
explain the unexplainable. As part of our quest to encounter the truthbehind the myths, we will be running a season
of unique events just for adults‚ where we uncover the exploits of famous 19th century mediums‚ the scientists
who investigated their abilities and the magicians who tried to debunk them.
The evening will start with a creepy
encounter with Stratford's Master of the Macabre for a chilling history of the building and some of it's ghost stories.
This is then followed by a reconstruction of a typical Victorian séance. Please note that unlike other "similar"
events this is not a staged performance by actors but a genuine Victorian style seance.
Hallucination‚ fraud
or genuine paranormal phenomena? It's up to you to decide.
Guests can examine the evidence and make up their
own minds. This event is not for the faint hearted or those who are afraid of the dark!

Evenings start at 9.00pm and finish at midnight - the witching hour.
Once again, to avoid any confusion, we have been running these events for over 11 years and they may well feature genuine
