Stratford’s Annual Halloween Festival is even spookier than before. Now in its tenth year, Stratford’s
longest festival will once again be centred on the Creaky Cauldron and Magic Alley in Henley Street from 1 October - 31 October.
Taking visitors on a “phantasm” - agorical journey into the spooky world of the Pumpkin Father the festival
is an absolute must for those interested in ghosts, ghouls and everything that goes bump in the night!
This year the festival is packed with child friendly activities including ghost stories with Mister Tryst,
the world famous Pumpkin Father, and an appearance or two by Seymour Stiffs at the Magic
Alley Theatre direct from his sell out show in Edinburgh.
As Dave Matthews from STMO Media Group says:
“Halloween isn’t just about ghosts and ghouls. The Stratford Halloween Festival is based on storytelling and fun.
From the terrifying tales of Mister Tryst to the belly laughs of Seymour Stiffs the Undertaker there is something for everyone.
And this year, we are working closely with the BBC to present a three hour show on local radio on the 31st itself.”
The radio show (a Fright Night) will be
hosted by BBC WM’s Caroline Martin with locals Dave Matthews and Andy Woolley and will go out from 10pm until after
midnight and promises to keep you glued to your seats for the entire show. Recorded at a secret location – this will
be a ghostly adventure that will make your hair stand on end!
