Cross Or Pentacle?
Jewellery is and always has
been about making a statement. Whether as a fashion statement or a statement about beliefs, either is completely acceptable
in the world of today. What you have to remember
is that not everyone who wears a cross is a Christian and not everyone who wears a pentacle or pentagram is a pagan or wiccan! So is it okay for a pagan
/ wiccan to wear a cross? The short answer is: there is no short answer, it is really up to you. Personally, to me, the cross
is a symbol of torture - after all, allegedly someone was nailed to it and then allowed to die a slow and painful death in
order for redemption and forgiveness to be made available to those that asked for it! However, it is only a symbol,
a piece of jewellery, so if you like it, wear it! |
