Number 21 Henley Street is over 450 years old and is ranged over three floors which means sadly that
access is limited to the ground floor for those with decreased mobility.
The building has uneven floors, steep and
narrow stairways, and on the top floor low doorways which may be difficult for some of our customers. If you are unable
to manage stairs, access to the ground floor part of the museum is available free of charge. We are currently working
on a video virtual tour that will be displayed there.
For customers with reduced seeing ability, we have a large print
version of our guidebook along with (at weekends) the chance to have a guide accompany you to tell you about the exhibits.
Access to the ground floor from te street is via a very small step downwards that is clearly marked - if you need
assistance, you only have to ask.....
