Stratford's Most Haunted Museum

Although several places try and lay claim to this title, without doubt it belongs to the Creaky Cauldron, home of the
Museum of Witchcraft and Wizardology and the Stratford Ripper Experience.
With over forty seperate and identified spirits roaming within it's walls it has a record that is hard to beat.
Customers varyingly refer to it as "magical" and "Truly Terrifying!" depending on their particular experiences.
Every member of staff has heard or experienced something whuilst working there. In fact it is not uncommon for
icy fingers to be stroked down the spine of female members of staff or for the chaps to be goosed when least expecting it!
Perhaps the strangest story though is the one that was caught on camera, where the ghostly fingers of a little girl are
clearly seen waving in front of a camera immediately after the ghost hunter asked the spirit that was there to make themselves
known....
The clip in question is shortly to be loaded onto You Tube.
The Creaky Cauldron can be found just two doors away from the main entrance to William Shakespeare's birthplace in Henley
Street - currently Stratford's only pedestrianised street. Surrounded by interesting buildings and geat cafes and restaurants,
you can easily spend the entire day in Henley Street with no need to venture further afield!
The Creaky Cauldron itself, used to be part of the former White Lion Inn an Inn with over 400 years of history. The
building dominates the skyline and can be seen on the approach to Stratford from the Birmingham Road.
Over the years the building has been heavily restored but retains a lot of its original features including central beams
dating back to the early 1600's and a Priest Hole on the top floor. Well worth a visit!
