Halloween Half Term Activities

@ New Place Gardens

In the beautiful Great Garden at Shakespeare’s New Place Macbeth will be visiting during half term.

‘Something wicked this way comes’ is on daily between 12 and 4pm with potion-making around the cauldron in the witches’ cave. Daily at 2pm it will be story time with ‘Murder and Mayhem’ as New Place was the site of two murders that could have been plucked from one of Shakespeare’s plays. Hear the stories of murder most foul as they happened on the Bard’s doorstep.

And on Thursday the 1st of November you can enjoy ‘Gunpowder, Treason and Plot’, two 30-minute costumed presentations on the story of The Gunpowder Plot and its failure, plus the dramatic aftermath, and how the plotters escaped into Warwickshire.
