Education should be fun!

Magic Alley prides itself on being an educational facility as well as a spellbinding attraction. Our staff consists of former teachers and skilled actors, each bringing a host of teaching and educational skills that make school and learning visits a truly engaging and memorable occasion.

With reading, writing, arithmetic, group activities and fantastic lesson activities, Magic Alley covers everything young learners need to both learn and enjoy learning. Having fun makes learning so much easier, and information tends to stick when it's presented in an engaging manner, and we believe that the Enchanted Manor is the ideal place to bring your classroom.

With the award-winning Tell Tale theatrical group being in residence, armed with a catalogue of historical and informative plays and workshops especially designed for groups of children, you can be certain that information that could possibly appear cold and dull in the confines of a class room will take to life as they engage with characters, learn history from the figures themselves and decode the works of Shakespeare.

It's the ideal environment for children and students to come and learn the ins and outs, the facts and the fictions, of Shakespeare's plays, with Tell Tale bringing the characters to life before the students, ready to speak plainly and humorously in order to decipher what can be a most perplexing subject - the wonders of Shakespeare's works.

We at magic Alley believe that Shakespeare's works are beautiful, enchanting pieces of poetic prose the world has never seen the likes of since, but the promise of studying his plays can often appear a boring and intimidating affair. Tell Tale help burst that academic bubble by presenting the facts and the words as they are today, with students being directly involved with the characters themselves, asking them questions, giving them feedback and having fun with them.

Imagine being able to ask Macbeth why he was so bloodthirsty. Or Asking Romeo about his fancy chat up lines.

We cater not just for school groups, but for home schooled parties and English as a Foreign Language students.

We only accept school groups during Warwickshire term times, and school group discounts are only available when booked in advance. School groups must confirm the booking by email from a school email address.

Other groups are by arrangement - please call to book.
