Situated in the heart of
Stratford upon Avon, just three doors from the entrance to William Shakespeare's birthplace, Magic Alley and the
Enchanted Manor are a must see for anyone who still has that spark of imagination and sense of wonder within them.
Prepare to be amazed, astonished and astounded by Stratford's most unique visitor experience based on the
Chronicles of Wizard's Thatch. Spread over three floors in one of the town's most historically significant buildings, the Creaky Cauldron,
you'll see the sign creaking in the breeze as you walk down the street.....
So go ahead, laugh, have fun and seek the magic for yourselves as you discover a taster of the Enchanting
World of Wizard's Thatch. Remember, that the building is over 450 years old and is
not suitable for pushchairs or buggies - please leave them at home. Visitors with
limited mobility may struggle with the upper floors, so please call us if you are unsure about accessibility.
Opening Hours &
Magic Alley and the Creaky Cauldron opens most days at 10.00am and closes at 5.30pm with last entry to the
Enchanted Manor Museum at 4.30pm. This does vary occasionally, due to maintenance work, so please call to check on the
day you are planning to visit if you haven't prebooked your tickets.
Tickets for the Enchanted Manor Museum cost: £10.00 for
Adults and £7.00 for children, students and concessions. Under 2's go free. Blue Peter Badge Holders
can enter free of charge. Different pricing applies for visits that include a visit to see Father Christmas - please visit our

To Book A Visit ...
We'd like to make your visit and experience as
magical as possible for you and your children, so please read the information below,
so you know what to expect and what we'd like you to do. We would hate to
disappoint you and your children when we are fully booked, so please call us to check that
we have availability.
Only those who have booked a place will be guaranteed
entry as we are very busy during peak periods. Spaces are very limited, so you must book your timed entry slot
in advance to avoid disappointment. For this reason, if you can't make it at your
appointed time please let us know as soon as possible by telephone on
The Enchanted Manor is
spread over several levels and is not suitable for pushchairs, buggies or those with

All tickets are for timed entry, you will not be admitted before your
booked entry time, so please do not turn up for early admittance. There will be plenty of time to explore Magic Alley and
take tea in the Golden Broomstick either before or after your visit to the Enchanted
Manor. There are no actors that jump out and we are a family friendly experience committed to providing magical
moments and unforgettable memories based on the Chronicles of Wizard's Thatch series of books.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied.

A visit to the Enchanted Manor will last anywhere from 30 minutes to just over an hour - it really is up to you.
Please note that we do not stock Harry Potter merchandise in
our stores, so please don't ask for it!
So, Where Are We?
You'll find us situated at the "Jester" or "Windsor Street" end of Stratford's only pedestrianized
street - Henley Street at number 21 (just look for the hanging sign of the Cauldron!). Simply follow the signs to Shakespeare's
birthplace - and we are literally three doors away, you can't miss us!
The Closest Car Park
The closest car park to us is the Windsor Street multi storey car park which is 2 minutes’ walk away and there
are disabled parking spaces outside. The cheapest car park however is the Windsor Street Surface Level car park which is just
10 yards further down Windsor Street on the left hand side. There is a charge for parking in either of these car parks.
The Train Station
The train station is approximately a ten minute stroll away - and most coaches stop either at the Windsor
Street Terminal at the top of the road or at the Leisure Centre which is by the river. The Leisure Centre is a gentle stroll
of about 15 minutes from us.
The Park And Ride
Stratford upon Avon has
a Park and Ride service that operates during the daytime - you can find out more by visiting their website:
Magic Alley is open most days* from 10.00am until 5.30pm (see below for exceptions and seasonal variations). The last entry to the Enchanted Manor is normally at 4.00pm however please check on the
day you wish to visit, as
it is always one hour before we close the doors
to Magic Alley.
Please note that the Golden Broomstick does not open when Father
Christmas is in the building.

Although pre booking your timeslot is not necessary during low season,
it is essential during peak season and school
holidays. It is particularly important over Easter, Halloween and Christmas to avoid
disappointment, as we are unlikely to be able to admit those who have not pre-booked. Different pricing
applies for visits that include meeting Father Christmas.

Manor is truly an atmospheric and magical experience for all the family and is sure to be one to remember. An average visit
to the Enchanted Manor will take somewhere between 30 and 55 minutes.
course, if you're expecting a boring old museum stuffed full of tired and dusty old exhibits about witchcraft or a multi-million
pound museum of behind the scenes movie making you'll be disappointed as you won't find either here!
But what you will find is a passionate team of people dedicated to bringing the enchanting world of Wizard's
Thatch to life...
The Enchanted Manor is suitable for children of all ages and for
the young at heart, but may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. There is no room for pushchairs or buggies - please
do not bring them, thank you.
